DISPONE, 2022
“DISPONE is a 150+ page book created by Betty Mulat & Mal Tayag. With this, our inaugural issue, we bring to you carefully selected pieces that highlight the excellence of over 30 Black, Indigenous, and people of colour who are women, trans, non-binary, 2S and queer. We have collaborated with passionate folks from around the globe who are resisting, shifting, and breaking barriers in a wide variety of Industries. From fashion, music and art, to ancestral teachings and parenthood; our essays and interviews aim to highlight how we disrupt, reframe, and dispose of the limiting narratives in society.”
All profits from sales of the book will be split between the Vancouver Black Therapy & Advocacy Foundation, and fundraisers and calls for mutual aid for Black trans women.
The book will be available in very limited quantities at the link in @dis.pone's bio.
COMPOUND BUTTER MAGAZINE, 2021
NOT YOUR BODY ZINE FEATURED IN COMPOUND BUTTER MAGAZINE ISSUE FIFTEEN: OUR CLUB
“For our fifteenth issue we returned to a theme near and dear to our hearts. This issue is an ode to those that stand as pillars of communities big and small, people whose voices have been silenced or suppressed by bigotry and hate, and the folks whose creativity and talent are constantly pushing their industries to do and be better. Inside its pages are pieces that observe the beauty that lies both in our strength and our softness, our resiliency and our vulnerability. This club is all inclusive and we can’t wait for you to discover the spirit and splendor of all its members in the Our Club issue!”

MADRE LINEN, 2021
“MADRE is Shay Carrillo and Jeanie Kirk, two women deeply stirred by mothering, both beauty + breakdown, homemaking, food, and how a nourishing home can ripple outwards to support and honor our children, our collective human family, and the natural world. We all eat, and we all rest, therefore MADRE strives to offer linen home essentials that support food, rest, and our community.
Linen napkins are the foundation of MADRE, and we are proud to be slowly growing a deeper offering of tabletop and kitchen goods, bedding, some apparel, and other select home essentials.
“La Cocina showcases women we admire and their kitchens. Part photo essay, part interview, all admiration.”
Here is our new episode of La Cocina, a conversation with Teresa Johnson.

SPACES SERIES X SNIKKA, 2020
“In this ongoing shoot, my goal is to capture creatives in their purest essence. How do you find a space for creation in a bustling metropolis like New York City? Surrounded by their works, materials, process, tools, and inspiration, I want to explore the importance and uniqueness of the creatives “space”. This concept is important to me because since I can remember, I have made sure to make whatever space I live in a reflection of myself and an environment where I feel comfortable and motivated to dwell and create. I want to explore different perspectives and mediums that POC + QTPOC creators share with a space they can call their own.”
